How to Request a Permanent Booking

Permanent, routine care refers to regular sessions that occur each week, with the arrangement remaining in place until a written cancellation is provided with a minimum of two weeks’ notice. Please note that charges will continue as usual for these sessions, even if your child is absent, to retain their place.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to proceed.

Step 1: Log into the My Family Lounge portal

Click here and enter your email and password then click Sign In. If you don’t remember your password, click on the “Forgot your password” link to reset it.

Note: We recommend completing the enrolment on a computer or laptop for the best experience.

Step 2: Create a New Booking Request
Once logged in, scroll to the Booking Requests section and click on New Request.

Step 3: Complete Booking Details
Please fill in the following fields:

  • Tick the child’s name

  • Select the care type

  • Enter the preferred start date (must be within 2 weeks)

  • Indicate the number of days required

  • Specify whether you will accept less days

  • Tick your preferred sessions

  • Flexibility comments – Add any notes about your availability or preferences

Once all details have been completed, click Save to submit your changes.

Step 4: View and Manage Your Booking Request

Your waitlist request will appear under Booking Requests.

Note: You can update your booking request at any time by clicking Edit next to the booking request.
Your original application date will remain if you make any changes.

Step 5: Receive Confirmation Email

If your booking request has been successfully submitted, you will receive the confirmation email (as shown below) to your registered email address for the specific service.

Step 6: Enrolment Reviewed and Next Steps

After submitting your booking request. The Bookings Team will review your enrolment form and booking request. You will receive a separate email with further instructions and the next steps. If any required information is missing, your child will not be able to start care until all requirements are completed.

If you are in urgent need of casual care, we may be able to assist you with casual/flexible care. These bookings are subject to availability. To request this, we require a fully completed and signed enrolment form and payment details on file before any bookings can be placed. Please email your requested dates in writing to bookings@nwcc.com.au.
